Position Title: Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine Physician

Hours: Full-time

Job Duties:

• Treats patients with critical care issues, specializing in the treatment of issues related to the lungs and respiratory tract.
• Provides inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consults, pulmonary clinics, interpretation of a broad range of pulmonary tests, and the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary practices.
• Performs pulmonary attending duties including rounding on inpatient consults, outpatient clinics, bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures
• Performs Intensive Care Unit ("ICU") attending duties including providing medical care for ICU patients, rounding with the ICU house staff, being on call to cover both ICU and resident phone calls and assisting in a variety of ICU emergencies.

Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Doctorate in Medicine, Osteopathy, or foreign equivalent

Applicant must also have: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Iowa. Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Internal Medicine.
