Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
