Job Description

As a Security Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization when required, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting orderly operations and helping to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
