Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access monitoring while delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, preparing incident reports, and assisting with directions and general inquiries in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
