Credentialing Coordinator

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Shift Details: 09:00 am – 05:00 pm Mon – Fri Job Description: Coordinated provider credentialing and recredentialing for physicians and allied health professionals. Processed credentialing applications, background checks, and primary source verifications. Utilized MDStaff credentialing software to maintain accurate provider records and monitor credentialing status. Conducted credentialing audits and ensured data integrity and regulatory compliance. Managed clinical privileging and appointment/reappointment processes in accordance with medical staff bylaws. Verified provider licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, malpractice coverage, and work history. Maintained compliance with Joint Commission (TJC), NCQA, CMS, and state/federal credentialing regulations. Communicated with providers, medical staff, and internal departments to resolve credentialing issues and ensure timely processing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
