About the Role

We are seeking an Insurance Compliance Analyst to support commercial loan servicing and insurance compliance activities. In this role, you will help ensure commercial real estate loan portfolios remain compliant with investor and insurance requirements, including guidelines established by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae . You will serve as a key resource for insurance-related inquiries, compliance reviews, exception processing, and portfolio servicing support.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in insurance risk management, commercial insurance, or insurance compliance within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for insurance-related questions, coverage requirements, and investor guidelines.
• Monitor insurance renewals and obtain required documentation, including invoices, proof of payment, and evidence of coverage.
• Review investor insurance guidelines and loan documentation to establish and maintain insurance compliance requirements.
• Analyze loan-related documents, including appraisals, engineering reports, seismic reports, and environmental assessments, to identify loan-specific insurance requirements.
• Conduct annual reviews of insurance certificates, policies, statements of values, and invoices to verify compliance with investor requirements.
• Process insurance exceptions and waiver requests, including gathering and documenting supporting information for non-compliant insurance situations.
• Maintain accurate insurance records and portfolio data within enterprise servicing systems and Salesforce, as applicable.
• Prepare and submit lender and investor reports as required.
• Support insurance casualty and claims-related processes by developing an understanding of policy provisions and claims management procedures.
• Collaborate with servicing and insurance operations teams to support ongoing portfolio management activities.
• Participate in and support business execution initiatives, following established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in Business Execution, Insurance Compliance, Commercial Insurance, Implementation, Strategic Planning, or a related field.
• Experience reviewing insurance policies, documentation, or compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate documentation and identify compliance risks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial real estate lending, loan servicing, or investor compliance.
• Knowledge of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae insurance requirements and guidelines.
• Experience in insurance risk management or commercial insurance review.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or loan servicing platforms.
• Experience processing insurance exceptions, waivers, or compliance issues.
