Shift: Shift 1/5:30:00AM to 6:00:00PM / Variable shifts between these hours, with alternating weekends.

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour

Join Lee Health as a Blood Center Technician I and play a vital role in helping save lives throughout our community. In this role, youll work directly with volunteer blood donors, perform phlebotomy and blood collections , and help ensure patients have access to a safe and reliable blood supply.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong phlebotomy skills, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable working in a mobile environment with variable hours between 5:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

As part of the Mobile Blood Center team, you will be responsible for driving the blood mobile to community blood drives. A valid drivers license and a good driving record for the past seven years are required.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 months of phlebotomy experience required.

Certification: N/A

License: Current valid Florida drivers license.

Other: Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, problem solve and work independently. Basic knowledge of computer data entry and retrieval.
