Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any technical issues while ensuring all documents and records are accurately maintained in the electronic health system.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques.

Education and Credentialing Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is highly desirable.

Certifications Required

• A current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
