Dietary Aide in the Waterville OH Area
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Sunday
1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to assist with serving meals to residents and maintaining a clean dining and kitchen area. This role helps create a positive dining experience while supporting daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve food to residents from the serving area
- Assist residents with trays, opening packages, and cutting food when needed
- Monitor meal attendance and report absent residents
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and trays using commercial dish equipment
- Clean kitchen, serving areas, and dining room
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors; vacuum dining areas
- Stock supplies such as sugar, salt, and paper products
- Assist with basic food prep including salads, vegetables, meats, and desserts
- Support resident-centered activities when needed
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division for inventory)
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and 25–50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code: Black pants, closed-toe non-slip shoes, and a T-shirt.
