Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety throughout each case. This role requires competency in all aspects of Cath Lab functions, including structural interventions.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and calibrate equipment, ensuring all tools are functioning properly before procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data within the designated charting system.
  
  
• 
  Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes, providing timely intervention as needed.
  
  
• 
  Float within scope to support facility needs or stay within the Cath Lab as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Cath Lab diagnostics and interventions.
  
  
• 
  ARRT registered, with active WV or equivalent license; pending license accepted for submission.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency in all Cath Lab procedures, including structural cases.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.
  
  
• 
  Ability to respond promptly to on-call requirements and work rotating shifts.
  
  
• 
  High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications preferred.
