Contract Executive Recruiter

We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.About the role:The Contract Executive Recruiter will be responsible for owning and executing executive level searches. This person will need to be well-versed in the full life cycle executive search process (including candidate generation and development, senior client management and offer/negotiation.)You will report into the Senior Director, Executive Recruiting.Work Location: This position is based in our New York office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-HybridResponsibilities:Oversee the management and execution of full-life cycle executive searches by developing the sourcing and recruiting strategies across select/designated functional areasCalibrating candidates with hiring managersDeveloping those prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing initial assessment (Pitch Calls)Participating in client update meetings on active searches and preparing reportsConducting on-site interviews and participating in debriefs; performing reference checks and creatively negotiating complex executive compensation packages.Support the Senior Director, Executive Recruiting on searchesDevelop search strategies, conduct research, and present qualified candidates for executive searchesRequirements:6+ years of experience within Executive Recruiting3+ years of leading VP+ level searches1+ years of project management experience; the ability to follow-through on individual and team-wide goals, plans and projects.1+ years experience building, and executing, strategies for staffing projects.1+ years of experience pulling insights from data, and utilizing insights to advise hiring leaders, and influence business decisions.Bonus points:Experience in agency and in-house recruiting Experience recruiting at a startup and/or within the healthcare industry.Experience building workforce forecastsThis is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
