Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist floater for its Fort Wayne, Indiana location to perform blood collections across multiple sites. The position involves venipuncture and capillary draws for diverse patient populations, specimen processing, and administrative tasks with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
• Travel between multiple clinic locations as assigned and provide customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
