Field Sales Manager

Title : Field Sales Representative Location: Must reside in Milwaukee, covering the state of WI /No relocation provided Manager: VP of Sales Rate: $70,000 + commission Overview: The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving brand awareness through in market execution and activations while delivering distribution and volume targets for Layup Hemp Drink in the state of Wisconsin. The priority for this role is to provide superior customer service to liquor stores, grocery stores, bars and restaurants by acting as an ambassador of the brands while being a category advisor to any outlet in the state selling Hemp drinks through leveraging data driven solutions to increase Layup's presence. In addition to product sell-in, the role involves educating customers and store associates on Layups Hemp drinks, visual merchandising stores, and representing the brand at events like trade shows and expos. Candidates must have beverage sales or cannabis experience . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ● Focus on the top liquor stores, grocery stores, bars and restaurants in the market. ● Merchandise stores with POS and execute min of 4 in store tastings per month. ● Develop a comprehensive understanding of Layup Hemp Drink product lines and effectively educate customers on while sampling. ● Act as consultant to customers by sharing category data to ensure product mix meets consumers demands. ● Maintain a list of target accounts to pursue turning non buy outlets to buying outlets, and deliver incremental velocity through superior execution. ● Conduct staff training sessions to drive education and brand awareness. ● Provide content and images to customers to promote our products on their webpages and on their social channels. ● Represent Layup Hemp Drink at customer-facing events, including trade shows, expos, and activations. ● Maintain professionalism and discretion regarding company matters. Project Management: ● Work in collaboration with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns that drive traffic, sales, and consumer awareness while increasing market share. Administrative Work: ● Conduct ongoing research on cannabis events and trends and identify events Layup should be present. ● Prepare reports and recaps of training sessions and events, including feedback and surveys. ● Collaborate with our distribution partners to develop MBOS, incentives, work with and leverage data to drive business solutions. ● Maintain a Field Marketing Representative toolkit and educational materials. ● Update Hubspot daily with customer interactions and accomplishments, Cirona Labs 3/6/25 Basic Qualifications: ● 2+ years of experience in sales, and/or promotional role required. ● Must have solid relationships with key retailers in the state of Wisconsin that can be influenced day 1. ● Willing to work nights and weekends. ● Fluent in Microsoft, specifically Excel, PPT Word ● Strong time management skills, highly organized, and detail oriented. ● A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with flexibility. ● Knowledge or willingness to learn state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● An eye for aesthetics, styling, and brand presentation. ● Must be at least 21 years of age. ● Must have a valid driver's license. ● Must have access to reliable transportation. ● Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time. ● Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
