Brow Waxing Expert

Overview Ulta Beauty is looking for a Brow Waxing Expert to serve the Benefit brand. The role combines beauty services with retail sales and focuses on delivering exceptional guest experience, helping guests choose products that complement their style and care routine. General Summary & Scope The Arch Expert (AE) is responsible for maximizing sales in the Benefit brand by engaging guests to determine their individual needs, assisting guests in the selection and purchase of merchandise and performing short services, including eyebrow/facial waxing and tinting. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Performance Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals. Provide exceptional service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service. Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations. Perform short services at the Brow Bar (eyebrow/facial waxing, tweezing, tinting, lash applications, threading). Use appointment book or system to schedule appointments. Meet average sales per labor hour and sales‑to‑service ratio goal. Keep up with industry trends, products, and service benefits. Maintain prompt, regular attendance. People Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests. Engage in ongoing Benefit and Ulta Beauty training and brand education. Build and maintain a strong customer relationship and an active clientele pool. Maintain relationships with Benefit brand partners and execute in‑store events and promotions. Create partnerships with Prestige consultants and salon professionals to promote teamwork. Share guest loyalty program benefits (credit and Ulta Beauty app) on the sales floor. Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business. Process Be knowledgeable of and comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards. Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures and state board guidelines. Adhere to dress code and wear brand assets. Keep the Brow Bar replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers are maintained. Communicate supply needs to store management and brand representatives. Maintain store operational standards, cleanliness, and inventory procedures. Protect company assets via loss prevention practices and exceptional service. Execute other operational tasks as directed. Job Qualifications Education High school diploma preferred. Cosmetology or esthetics license where required by state law. Experience Experience in makeup application, eyebrow/facial waxing, tweezing, and tinting. Proficiency with equipment used for technical work. Skills Strong sales, product, and service competency. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle guest concerns and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills. Special Position Requirements Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Attend brand‑sponsored trainings. Working Conditions Continuous mobility, standing, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, reaching, bending, twisting. Lift up to 10 lbs. continuously, and up to 25 lbs. when necessary. Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects. Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour. Eligibility for overtime pay, tips, and benefits is as described.
