Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial AnalystInsight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a top financial-services and credit-union client. This individual will join an evolving finance organization and play a key role in strengthening its FP&A, forecasting, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with business leaders to analyze complex financial and operational data, build scalable models and dashboards, automate reporting processes, and provide actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong traditional FP&A expertise with hands-on data analytics and visualization experience and is comfortable presenting insights to executive stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to help modernize financial processes and build capabilities within a complex, forward-thinking organization.Required Skills & Experience:5 to 8 or more years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, accounting, or a related finance function3 years of experience within banking, credit unions, or a closely related financial-services environmentStrong traditional FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial reportingAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large financial and operational data sets from multiple systemsHands-on business intelligence and data-visualization experience using Power BI and/or TableauAbility to develop dashboards, automated reports, forecasting models, scenario models, and executive-level financial packagesStrong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to present to executive level leadershipBachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting, analytics, or a related fieldNice to Have Skills & Experience:Experience with Axiom, including Axiom tools within the Strata platformExperience with Prologue general-ledger toolsFamiliarity with Jack Henry Symitar core banking systemsSQL knowledgeCompensation: $97-120K annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.Day to Day:Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities across the organizationPartner with department leaders to develop financial assumptions, forecasts, and performance targetsBuild and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, scenario analyses, dashboards, and automated reporting solutionsExtract, transform, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple systemsPerform variance, profitability, and trend analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance driversDevelop business intelligence solutions that improve visibility into financial performance and KPIsPrepare executive-level reports, presentations, financial packages, and strategic recommendationsSupport business cases, strategic initiatives, ad hoc analyses, and management requestsHelp create and automate new finance processes as the department continues to scaleRevamp existing reporting and forecasting processes, with significant transformation work expected during the first 6 to 12 monthsImprove the standardization, accuracy, timeliness, and scalability of financial reportingCollaborate across finance and operational teams to improve business performance and decision-making
