About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80113!
Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current acute care hospital PCU experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications Description: This position is for an experienced RN in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit features 20 beds and has a staff of 40 including nurses and techs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4. Charge nurses do not have patient assignments. The unit is equipped with vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and specialty beds. Experience with a variety of procedures such as chest tube placement and bedside bronchitis management is preferred. Ideal candidates should enjoy a challenging and acute patient population. The team is known for excellent teamwork and support among nurses and charge nurses.
