The custodial worker maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming corporate office environment by performing routine and detailed cleaning tasks across all common areas, offices, and support spaces. This role requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to work independently without close supervision, and the flexibility to adjust tasks based on changing needs within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, counters, mirrors, and floors to maintain a hygienic environment.

• Clean and sanitize break rooms and lunch rooms, including tables, counters, sinks, and appliances.

• Clean and sanitize the lobby, reception area, and entrance doors to ensure a professional and welcoming appearance.

• Clean and sanitize conference and training rooms, including tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.

• Clean and maintain the mail and copy room, offices, cubicle areas, and water fountains.

• Mop hallways and break rooms, including designated office areas, to keep floors clean and safe.

• Remove trash and recyclables from all areas of the facility and dispose of them in designated collection points.

• Vacuum main aisles, entrance carpets, and rugs in warehouse office areas to maintain a neat appearance.

• Vacuum cubicles and offices on a rotating schedule, covering approximately half of the building each week as part of the dusting rotation.

• Adjust cleaning plans as needed when areas are occupied, such as conference rooms or offices, and return to those spaces at an appropriate time.

• Work independently to manage daily cleaning tasks without direct, continuous supervision.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness by paying close attention to detail in all assigned areas.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of previous cleaning, custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience.

• Proficiency with core cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

• Ability to clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas to a high standard.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure all surfaces and areas are thoroughly cleaned.

• Self-starter mindset with the ability to organize and complete daily tasks without micromanagement.

• Ability to adapt and pivot when an area is occupied or when unexpected cleaning needs arise.

• Reliability and consistency in following a regular cleaning schedule and rotation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience cleaning corporate office environments or similar professional facilities.

• Comfort working independently throughout a large office space.

• Strong time management skills to complete assigned areas within the shift.

• Good communication skills to coordinate around meetings or occupied areas when necessary.

Work Environment

This role supports a corporate office building within a vitamin manufacturing organization, focusing on areas such as the main lobby, conference rooms, cubicle areas, offices, hallways, and lunch rooms. Work takes place indoors in a professional, climate-controlled environment. The position follows a first-shift schedule, with typical hours of either 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work involves regular use of standard cleaning tools and supplies, including mops, brooms, vacuums, and cleaning agents, and requires being on your feet for much of the shift while moving throughout the facility.

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
