Our organization, a recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the largest healthcare provider in southeastern New Jersey, is seeking applications for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Colorectal Surgeon to become part of our expanding surgical team within our Physician Group Surgical Associates.

Position Summary
We are looking for a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to deliver exceptional care to patients in southeastern New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both operative and clinical skills, along with a collaborative approach to patient management. Our health system encompasses approximately 625 hospital beds across two locations, in addition to several ambulatory surgery and endoscopy centers, as well as multidisciplinary clinics.

This position presents a chance to join a rapidly growing and comprehensive colorectal surgery practice, dedicated to serving underserved populations in southeastern New Jersey. The successful applicant will integrate into a well-established team that includes specialists in surgical oncology, general surgery, and bariatric surgery, with a call schedule of 1:7. Our colorectal department collaborates closely with the accredited Cancer Center to provide robust, multidisciplinary care for patients with colon, rectal, and anal cancers. Key features of our colorectal surgery division include:

• Access to both elective and emergency robotic surgery (including SP platform)

• Dedicated endoscopy time for screening and diagnostic procedures

• Utilization of an ambulatory surgery center for high-volume anorectal and endoscopic procedures

• Significant potential for growth in multidisciplinary IBD care and pelvic floor pathology treatment

• Teaching opportunities with rotating general surgery residents (PGY1 through PGY5) and medical students on elective rotations

• Support from dedicated colorectal Advanced Practice Providers (APP) for inpatient, outpatient, and surgical services

• Join a financially stable and expanding health system with a recently announced partnership to establish a medical school, offering further teaching and leadership opportunities
