Job Title Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR. Job Type Per Diem / Variable Shift – On‑site Responsibilities Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patients, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive and non‑radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements. Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
