Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk

Primary Responsibilities Load and unload units and parts from transporting devices, by hand or using unit handling equipment. Stacks and/or stores accordingly. Will examine stock and shipping/receiving documents against packing list to verify quantity, weight, and condition of package. May prepare boxes for shipment by using shipping item protector or other packing equipment. Releases prepared shipments to trucks for final delivery. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Maintain all inventory, parts and quantities organized by designated bin locations. Maintain all clerical paperwork organized. Consult all shipping and receiving issues to immediate supervisor. Reports on any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor Secondary Responsibilities Manage control procedures and inventory management. Research and reconciliation of discrepancies. Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures. Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisor. Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Ability to work with minimal supervision High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED). One-year warehouse experience, cycle count, and inventory control. Must be computer literate. (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, SAP, Word & Excel) Ability to perform simple math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to perform various packing equipment and material handling equipment. Required to drive a forklift and experience Raymond Lift operator a plus. In bound and Out bound freight control knowledge. Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds without assistance. Will stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Warehouse, Mechanical Hazards, moving objects.
