Procurement Consultant - All Levels (Security Cleared) Full-time Department: Infrastructure Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company focused on infrastructure and procurement. Responsibilities Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients. Manage and collaborate with a team on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes. Support clients in post‑contract contract management of major projects. Support the development of procurement services provided by T&T. Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition. Support the delivery of team and wider business targets. Support bid preparation, proposal documentation and the work‑winning capability of the Contract Services team. Skills and Experience Experience leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment. Strong background in tender preparation, processes and development of key documents in relevant sectors. Experience in supplier engagement activities, from market engagement through to contract award. Cross‑sector experience with utilities, defence and security/public contract regulations or equivalent, and ability to develop key procurement strategies. Proficient in standard model contract approaches, especially NEC4. Experience in alliancing / partnership contract arrangements. Experience in post‑contract contract management, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters, particularly with NEC4. MCIP accreditation achieved or actively working towards it. Preferable degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement. Preferred experience in the defence and/or infrastructure sectors. Ideally hold or able to hold Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or able to be reinstated. Develop supply chain intelligence strategies. Understanding of commercial principles and modelling, and experience developing commercial models of varying complexity. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Adaptable, taking personal responsibility to succeed in the right way. Confident, independent, able to work autonomously without supervision. Capable of managing multiple activities and stakeholders. Ability to collaborate and develop or manage a team to achieve desired outcomes. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
