Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) radiological procedures at a healthcare facility. This role involves preparing patients, operating CT imaging equipment, administering contrast media, and supporting radiologists during complex procedures. The technician will ensure high-quality imaging while practicing radiation safety protocols in accordance with industry standards.

Job Details

• Location: Grand Blanc, MI
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, with ongoing continuing medical education requirements
• Certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS, with registration or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Responsibilities include reviewing clinical data, preparing the procedure room, performing scans, administering intravenous contrast media, monitoring patients, and ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles.
• Must possess skills in clinical data review, CT scan operation, RIS study indexing, patient preparation, sterile equipment setup, and PACS image management.
• Required personal qualities include teamwork, communication, sensitivity, motivation, and respect.
