Pediatric Hospitalist (Per Diem)

Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalists Opportunities Available in SouthEast OhioPediatrix Medical group is seeking board-certified Pediatricians to join our team at OhioHealth Obleness Hospital in Athens, OH on a per diem basis to provide coverage of the Newborn Nursery.Responsibilities include:Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists - No Pediatric floor coverage24 hour shift of rounding plus offsite callPediatric Hospitalists will perform circsPediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.About the Area:If the USA could have a "greatest hits" for a single state, Ohio might be it.
