Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients preoperatively and prepare them for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient status during surgeries, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, maintaining patient safety.
• Document clinical care and surgical procedures accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate care and ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license approval to practice in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CVOR setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and operate advanced surgical equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work scheduled hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
