Job Description

• Accompany patients into exam rooms to obtain medical history, including allergies, medications and history of chronic illness.
• Efficiently use EMR for documentation.
• Call patients with lab results
• Return patient calls to answer an array of questions, after guidance from provider.
• Clean and stock rooms
• Sterilize instruments and wash/fold patient gowns
• Assist providers during procedures and minor surgeries.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with multiple providers and other medical staff
• Must provide exceptional patient care
• Ability to multi task and perform a variety of MA skills.
• Reliable and punctual

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Experience in Dermatology preferred, 1+ years in prior medical assisting role.

Education: High School Diploma

Certifications/Licenses: Medical Assistant certificate preferred but not required.
