Location: Onsite – Dallas, TX / Middletown, NJ / Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Manager with expertise in platform and data infrastructure products to lead specification-driven product delivery in a clean-room/Chinese Wall development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience writing detailed technical specifications, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting engineering teams through test-driven validation without direct implementation interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Clean-room / Chinese Wall Discipline
- Demonstrated experience authoring specifications consumed by an isolated implementation team, including clean-room reverse engineering, regulated/defense work, or formal specification-to-vendor handoffs.
- Understand that the specification is the only communication channel.
- Write requirements that are complete on first delivery, including every file path, import, configuration value, error message, and acceptance criterion.
- Produce specifications that meet a single-turn, no follow-up questions standard.
- Work within a strict clean-room process where implementation code is inaccessible and communication with developers is not permitted.
- Validate implementation solely through observable test outcomes rather than reviewing source code.
Product & Platform Responsibilities
- Define detailed technical product requirements for platform and data infrastructure initiatives.
- Create acceptance-criteria-driven specifications validated through automated test suites.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into precise implementation specifications.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of all technical documentation.
- Drive product planning and execution for platform engineering initiatives.

Required Experience
- Technical Product Management or Technical Program Management experience supporting platform or data infrastructure products (not consumer applications).
- Proven experience writing acceptance-criteria-driven technical specifications validated through automated test suites rather than demonstrations.
- Experience working in regulated, clean-room, defense, or specification-driven engineering environments.
