Physical Therapist - School Setting in Scarsdale, NY:

Step into a physical therapy role designed for professionals who are passionate about empowering young learners. With a full-time schedule of 35 hours a week , you will work closely with elementary students to help them access their education and achieve developmental milestones.

Ideal candidates will bring previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children. Your expertise will enable you to assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support students’ gross motor skills, functional mobility, and participation in school activities.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid NY state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt approaches for diverse student needs
- Enthusiasm for working within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time caseload of elementary-aged students 
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans
- Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, update reports, and adjust interventions as needed
- Offer training and resources to school staff to support student achievement
