We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current NC state license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Note: candidate must be comfortable with critical patients, NICU-type patients, PCU-type patients, and general ER patients.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record.
• Experience with department equipment including Servo ventilators (I, U, Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP.
• Ability and willingness to float regionally within assigned region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in emergency department or freestanding ED environments.
• Familiarity stabilizing patients for transfer.
• Previous experience in departments with on-site imaging services (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound).

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:45–07:10.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Department orientation: 2 days of departmental orientation.
• Floating: Will be required to float per regional needs to other facilities within the region. If floating mid-shift, travel time between facilities will be paid.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue. Parking: Free.
