Materials Handler

Materials HandlerSwope Health is seeking a detailed oriented and dependable Materials Handler to provide oversight to the process of mail distribution, shipping, receiving, inventory and distribution of materials. The Procurement Handler is responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages within the organization, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to the correct recipients.PRIMARY Responsibilities:Provide services and monitor mailing and shipping process for all member companyLead and monitor the receiving of all materials, goods and services into department area including coordination with all vendors.Lead and monitor all inventory management activities including stocking, filling orders, replenishment of stock and data entry.Deliver goods, services and materials to assigned areas in a timely manner on a dailyProvide high quality customer service to all customers, vendors and enterprise companies.Experience/ Qualification REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalent.One to two years of experience in supply chain management (healthcare preferred} - primarily receiving, distribution, and experience with mail handling would be a plusComputer skills preferred including ability to use internet and Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.High quality customer service skills including outstanding interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license.About Swope HealthSwope Health, the Kansas City region's largest Federally Qualified Health Center, has provided comprehensive primary care, dental care and mental health services in the Greater Kansas City area for more than 56 years.Recognized as a patient-centered medical home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, our commitment to an integrated model of healthcare aligns with our mission to improve community health and wellness through accessible, quality, comprehensive patient care.Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and The Joint Commission, we served nearly 56,000 patients in 2025 at 24 locations throughout the area, including Kansas City, Belton, Independence, North Kansas City, Hickman Mills, and Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas.
