- Providing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic examinations, and crafting tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as credentialing permits)
- Educating patients and their families on health prevention, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing medications and treatments in line with your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive, holistic care
- Documenting all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is expected
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California is essential
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical skills complemented by a warm, empathetic approach
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, their families, and medical team members
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment
- Proficient in EMR platforms and comfortable navigating telehealth systems
