Outpatient OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Bakersfield, CA

Adventist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Outpatient OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Women's Health team in Bakersfield, California. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women's healthcare in a collaborative outpatient setting, delivering high-quality care to patients throughout all stages of life.

About the Role

The Outpatient OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner will work closely with OB/GYN physicians and clinical support staff to provide preventive, gynecologic, and obstetric care in a busy ambulatory practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN and be passionate about delivering patient-centered care while building long-term relationships with patients within the community.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

• Base Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 annually
• Quality Incentive Bonus: Up to $15,000 annually
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Student Loan Assistance: Up to $30,000 paid over 5 years

Candidate Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (NP)
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Active California NP license (or eligibility)
• Experience in OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, or Women's Health preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous OB/GYN or Women's Health experience strongly preferred
• Experience in an outpatient women's health setting
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
