Job Description
Required Education:

• None (w/2 years of relevant work experience)

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Skills and Experience:

• Two years of experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

• Effective and accurate case picking skills

• Comfortable reading pick tickets, labels, and using handheld scanners or RF devices

• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)

• Effective communication skills at a level that co-workers and the Team Lead/Supervisor can understand

• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations

• General computer skills

Responsibilities:

• Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.

• May maintain records

• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method

• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps

• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines
