This role serves as the shift leader, responsible for overseeing GSOC operators, ensuring high-quality incident response, and maintaining operational continuity across global security functions. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE SWING SHIFT.The ideal candidate is an experienced GSOC professional who can lead by example, make critical decisions in real time, and support the development of a high-performing team.What You'll DoServe as shift lead for GSOC operations, overseeing operators and daily activitiesMonitor and support physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) across global locationsReview, prioritize, and direct incident triage and escalationAct as the primary decision-maker during shifts for critical incidents and escalationsCoordinate cyber incident intake and escalation with IT/security partnersEnsure timely and accurate incident reporting, SITREPs, and executive notificationsMonitor global events and oversee travel risk support for employeesSupport and supervise badging and access control operationsProvide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to GSOC OperatorsEnsure adherence to SOPs while identifying process improvement opportunitiesAssist with crisis response activation and cross-functional coordinationWhat You Bring4–7 years of experience in a GSOC, SOC, or security operations environmentPrior experience in a lead or supervisory role (formal or informal)Strong understanding of incident management and escalation protocolsProven ability to lead during high-pressure situationsExperience in 24/7 operational environments (shift work required)Strong communication skills and ability to brief leadership during incidentsHigh attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skillsPreferredExperience with Verkada VMS, Everbridge, or similar platformsExperience supporting integrated security operations (physical + cyber)Background in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or emergency responseExperience mentoring or training junior operatorsSmith is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer
