Veterinary Criticalist

As the only 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in coastal North Carolina, we have a high caseload of critically ill and injured patients. Our team is expanding, and we are looking to hire a Criticalist to further develop our Emergency & Critical Care Service. Our team consists of 10 full-time emergency veterinarians who work in conjunction with specialists in surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and radiology. We are moving to a brand new 32,000 square foot state of the art facility. We are equipped with an MRI, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, a 118-slice GE CT scanner, flexible endoscopy, Snyder oxygen cage banks, full in-house IDEXX lab systems, arthroscopy, and a ForceTriad Electrosurgical Unit.

The right individuals will have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment with focus on excellent patient care and communication with clients and referring veterinarians. We offer opportunities to participate in paid studies through our parent organization’s research branch, Ethos Science.
