Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Radiology - Fluoroscopy (AART Certification REQUIRED)

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Radiology - Fluoroscopy Join the Cincinnati Children’s family as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Radiology department’s Fluoroscopy section. You will perform and assist in fluoroscopic examinations, protocol each order, and serve as a physician extender while ensuring safety and quality of patient care. Job Responsibilities Acts as a physician (radiologist) extender. Protocols every order for fluoroscopic exams, including consulting ordering providers, verifying clinical history, and placing protocols in EPIC. Manages the fluoroscopy schedule and ensures procedural appropriateness and protocol adherence. Facilitates communication between patient, radiologist, technologist, and patient‑care team. Performs and assists in procedures such as video swallow studies, barium enemas, cystograms, NJ and GJ tube placements. Reads images and provides preliminary reports on fluoroscopy exams. Provides education and quality improvement, including training attendings, fellows, and residents. Develops and updates fluoroscopy protocols. Shift: 8‑hour day shift, straight, no holidays, weekends, or on‑call. Job Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Registered ARRT (R). Licensed by Ohio Department of Health. Fluoroscopy experience preferred. Licensure and certification in accordance with CCHMC Delineation of Privileges.
