About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting to lead its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and controlling general ledgers and sub-ledgers for various funds, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and overseeing client relationships and service plans. This role requires a strategic approach to driving innovation and efficiency in fund administration processes, as well as the ability to engage with sophisticated alternative investment clients to deliver tailored financial solutions. The Vice President will also be expected to provide leadership and mentorship to a team of accounting professionals, contribute to the strategic growth of fund administration services, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Vice President, Fund Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a CPA designation preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in fund administration or accounting is required, with 15 years' being the ideal. Proficiency in US GAAP and fund accounting systems, strong leadership and supervisory skills, and advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are essential. The role also demands experience in managing infrastructure funds, delivering client-focused solutions, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting guidelines for alternative investments. The ability to negotiate, plan budgets, and analyze margins effectively is a key requirement for this senior position.
