About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support the business. This role involves leading a team of professionals, managing the preparation of financial statements, and coordinating with internal and external auditors. The AVP will also be involved in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, as well as supporting the strategic financial planning of the organization. Applicants for the AVP, Financial Reporting position at the company should have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, and a Master's degree or CPA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
