PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT)

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), Position Description Number D1064000 and is part of the KS AASF 2, National Guard. Responsibilities As a GS-1152-09, Production Controller (Aircraft) you will develop, organize, and integrate plans, schedules and resources for logistic support of AASF and unit maintenance operations. This position is the focal point for compilation, maintenance, and application of information pertaining to the AASF logistics capability and capacity to maintain aircraft availability and readiness and advises the AASF Logistics Management Officer/Supervisory Maintenance Test Pilot on matters pertaining to maintenance logistics management production. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E3 through E7 Compatible Military Assignments: Immaterial GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Education Additional Information If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/1959 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency ( Applicants hired into this position may qualify for a recruiting or relocation incentive.
