Location: Frisco, TX | Fully Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $50,000 base salary + uncapped tiered commission

• Top producers have significant six-figure earning potential

• Commission-only option with recoverable draw available

ROLE IMPACT

As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll be responsible for growing your business through your existing referral network, community involvement, and relationship-building efforts. While the primary focus is self-generated production, you'll also have access to bank-generated inbound opportunities as supplemental business.

Success in this role is measured by consistent loan production, long-term referral relationships, and delivering an exceptional borrower experience from application through closing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with Realtors, builders, financial advisors, investors, and other community partners

• Generate new residential mortgage business through networking, prospecting, and relationship management

• Consult with borrowers to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions

• Originate residential mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with applicable lending guidelines and regulations

• Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application through closing

• Partner closely with processors, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan closings

• Utilize the bank's diverse lending portfolio to provide customized financing solutions

• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and proactively manage follow-up activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license with the ability to originate loans in Texas

• Recent residential mortgage origination experience

• Demonstrated success developing business through Realtor, builder, or referral relationships

• Proven ability to self-source mortgage opportunities and build a referral-based pipeline

• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, HELOC, and other residential mortgage products

• Excellent relationship-building, consultative sales, and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fully onsite, relationship-focused banking environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Established network of Realtors, builders, and referral partners throughout North Texas

• Experience originating Construction, Jumbo, HELOC, or portfolio loan products

• History of consistently funding 2 to 5 or more residential mortgage loans per month

• Previous community bank or retail mortgage lending experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
