Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay: $22/hour on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated  Lab Technician to support our CT & Imaging team in the development of next-generation medical products. The technician will assist with operating industrial CT scanning and other imaging equipment, performing basic imaging data analysis/post-processing, and documenting findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and complementary imaging equipment.
• Perform basic image analysis and post-processing using tools such as Volume Graphics, Geomagic, or Mimics.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support laboratory operations, custom fixture preparation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn new imaging technologies and technical processes.

Preferred: Experience with laboratory/manufacturing environments, precision equipment, CAD/digital model review, or hands-on technical tools.
