Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering

Position Summary Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering – Woonsocket, RI. Responsibilities Design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies. Analyze user needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements. Determine feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation. Upgrade existing software applications or systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability. Write and review high‑quality code and perform unit and automation testing. Develop and deploy application components, support unit testing, and fix bugs. Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and CI/CD processes. Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Independently lead development of high‑complexity and high‑risk solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience. Five (5) years of experience in each of the following areas: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Infrastructure components: GCP or CPU technologies Software development lifecycle (SDLC) Writing application code and deploying to production Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating on software development solutions Software development best practices Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases Telecommuting available.
