Job Description

The Payroll Administrator reports to the Manager of Payroll and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely payroll operations across a multi-state workforce. This position partners closely with HR and Finance and has the opportunity to drive process improvements and enhance payroll best practices. Job Functions:

• Communicate and escalate issues or concerns as appropriate
• Resolve employee issues with superior customer service
• Own end-to-end payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Partner with a collaborative payroll and HR team
• Review timekeeping data prior to payroll transmission
• Provide interpretation and guidance on policies as related to employee pay
• Contribute to, review, and update current process and procedures, identifying improvement opportunities
• Create reporting
• Run audit reports to ensure accuracy of all payroll limits
• Review pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) reporting
• Ensure accurate payroll data entry and maintenance
• Have knowledge of multi state payrolls
• Process payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple states
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of Payroll experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems required (ADP Vantage a plus)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $28.84 to $36.06 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.


This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
