Qualifications

• Registered and certified as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT certification preferred)
• Current and valid state licensure as required
• Previous experience as an IR Tech within a hospital or clinical imaging environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of imaging modalities and interventional equipment
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, contrast media, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, adhering strictly to safety protocols and sterile techniques
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear imaging results
• Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and outcomes in compliance with facility standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and medical staff to provide outstanding patient care

$2,760 - $2,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
