The Residential Sales Specialist is the driving force behind securing new residential opportunities and expanding the company's market footprint. This role is heavily focused on consultative sales, business development, and relationship building, working closely with homeowners to close high-value projects and deliver exceptional customer experiences from the initial discovery call to the final agreement.

Based in Sterling Heights, MI, our client is a premier custom hardscape design and build firm serving the Metro Detroit area for over 30 years. Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by actively sourcing, securing, and closing residential bid opportunities to meet and exceed sales performance goals.
• Conduct comprehensive discovery calls and in-person consultations to uncover client needs, present compelling solutions, and overcome objections.
• Develop and present accurate, persuasive sales proposals and estimates based on site evaluations, blueprints, and client discussions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the operations and design teams to ensure a smooth handoff once a project is sold, maintaining high-level communication to guarantee client satisfaction.
• Nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, establishing trust to generate referrals, secure repeat business, and offer post-completion maintenance packages.

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in quota-driven sales, with the ability to prospect, build rapport, negotiate, and consistently close deals.
• Candidates with sales backgrounds in kitchen & bath design, outdoor living, roofing/windows/remodeling, real estate, or luxury retail are highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong operational and estimating skills, including the ability to perform construction math and effectively manage leads and bids using CRM software.
• Highly organized, communicative, and motivated professional with a strong commitment to teamwork and achieving sales targets.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License is required to ensure smooth travel to project sites and client meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000 to $130,000 including commissions commensurate with experience.
