Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and TNCC certification.

Job Details

• Work in a 24+2 bed Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting,
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 for critical care patients,
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• No on-call requirements,
• Float to HVU and PCU required at a 1:4 ratio,
• No 48-hour or block scheduling,
• EMR currently MedHost, transitioning to Cerner,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC,
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,
• Critical care experience required,
• Solid color scrubs required,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months are permitted,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
