As needed, measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals, integrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality best practices and communication of quality issues, and facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective action.In addition, you will perform reviews and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records. You will perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100, recommend initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system quality, and provide quality assurance subject matter expertise to inspection, manufacturing and test. Periodically, you will interface with internal and external customers on quality related concerns and develop training materials to build quality awareness.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will share in the team's impact on all aspects of developing, testing and launching Space systems to support Blue Origin's Vision.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Aerospace, space launch, military/commercial aviation preferredFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programsPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of Avionics assemblyKnowledge of Weld and NDT practicesWorking knowledge of Precision Measurement Science fundamentalsProficient in the fundamentals of GD&T.Working knowledge of quality performance measurement analysisWorking knowledge of Root Cause AnalysisQuality assurance experience in rocket engine production environmentQuality Management System audit experienceSix Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certificationWorking knowledge of aerospace assemblyCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
