As a Security Officer Unarmed Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transit location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Assist with crowd management and provide directions or information to support orderly passenger flow during routine operations, service disruptions, and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
