The candidate must be an organized, self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of multi-tasking responsibilities crucial to our organization's success. The Human Resources Generalist works on a team of HR professionals, each of whom supports a set of supervisors and staff across a broad spectrum of HR and program related areas.We seek self-starters capable of independent effort as well as participation on a small team.This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site in Columbia, Maryland with periodic travel to office in Fairfax, VA.Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance.Duties:Performs Talent Acquisition: posting jobs, resume review, phone screening, interviews, maintaining records, onboarding.Responsible for lifecycle management of staff executing a set of HR processes; performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, corporate ethicsExecutes employee benefits administration and annual healthcare enrollmentRecommendations and decisions on employee retentionTraining Process Management; tracking, presenting and conducting surveys for subset of corporate processesExecutes Vets4212, EE0-1, ACA reporting and 401(k) annual auditRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar relevant degreeMinimum of 5-6 years of professional experience working in HRExperienced recruiter with strong understanding of candidate to hire executionAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and independent workerEvidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.Pleasant, tactful and professional demeanor and appearanceMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Familiar with Human Capital SystemsHR experience in a DoD/Navy environmentSupervisory experienceIn-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401k program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
