Hooker Middle School Position: Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Elementary Assignment Dates: September 1, 2026 – November 2, 2026 Description: The Goshen Central School District is seeking a qualified Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher for the C.J. Hooker Middle School. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction that supports the academic and emotional growth of our students. The candidate will create a positive learning environment, collaborate with colleagues and families, and implement district curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Certification Requirements: Valid NYS Certification in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) or Elementary Education (Birth-Grade 6/PK-6) Qualifications: Strong knowledge of New York State Learning Standards Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Strong classroom management and instructional practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment Location: C.J.
