Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will interpret and manage dysrhythmias, utilize rapid response teams, and provide comprehensive peripheral line care and management. The position involves monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias.Administer medications and treatment per physician orders.Provide care to patients requiring peripheral line management and oxygen support.Utilize non-invasive airway management techniques.Implement isolation precautions as needed to maintain patient safety.Work collaboratively with Patient Care Technicians and other team members to provide comprehensive care.Shift DetailsShifts: Night (4x12-Hour)Day/Eve ratios: 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7)Night ratios: 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in)QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.BLS certification required.First-time travelers welcomed.No locals accepted within a 75-mile radius.No pending licenses accepted.RTO restrictions: No more than 1 week RTO allowed during the contract.Additional RequirementsFloating to meet facility needs is expected.Preference for proficiency in Epic charting.Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white.Patient PopulationThis position primarily serves a cardiac unit, requiring specialized knowledge in cardiac care and monitoring.Client Details State NY
